About Me

I have been building houses in Sims since Sims 2 first came out. I’m more a creative builder, not so much a commertial one. I never build the same house twice. The last few years I have been very preoccupied with inside decoration of houses. I have made lots of fusion style houses. Everything from maurish to historic styles, but my main style has always been modern. My main concern has been a house in many styles carefully dragged into our modern times.
Before that, when 2 and 3 was quite new I focused a lot on the technical aspect of this game. From time to time I’m bored with just decoration and like to try’n make a technical house look nice as well. I have learned that a technical house very fast ends up looking ugly. To make a techical house look nice is more of a challenge, but also quite rewarding.
As a creative person I also like to try new things. For that reason the follow me part of this site is one of the biggest. What I gain from doing something new isn’t always that obvious, but from time to time I learn very big new subjects that way. Like world building, I made 3 of them.

Fusion Scandinavian and Asian

Lot Tester Tove Hope Jaren You could think Scandinavian clean lines and Japanese is very far apart? ... or perhaps you thought like me it's very close? I had already downloaded DOT's most recent set with Japanese lamps and something more. The sets I...

3ds Max – The Parthenon – Array

We have received our first assignment, it's for The Parthenon. I have been googling a bit to find out how I can make it at my level. Above is a very simple shape I made first, just to get a grip on the work I have to do. I think I'm going to need many objects on this...

Something small for someone big

I have uploaded 2 sets for TSR and should now be finished with the sets I needed for the Wentworth project. Now I'm in a bit of a pickle though, because what can I write about now? I decided to make a small house and of course ended up with something too big, because...

Luxury in the main room

On the main floor, where the they come in from the fields, I have this bathroom. It has just what we call Leca on the wall. Probably just with some gray polish of a kind. The floor is more luxurious, with the bathroom tile I have used several places. I put a purple...

Red Velvet and Concrete

Today will be about the mastersuite. It also has a room so tiny I probably will never be able to take a picture of it. Unless I can have the outside back wall up and the inner wall down. The only problem is the inner wall is also an outer wall, because the room is so...

Degrees of Lofty Modern

This farm has been let down a bit lately. I uploaded the farmhouse and installed a couple of mods. I also did some changes to the main mccc mod from Deaderpool, to have more people in a household. i didn't quite get to 8 in the smaller farmhouse, but perhaps I can...

Expanding the farm for more toddlers

I bought the new toddler pack. The net is full of ridicule ... as usual. It's mostly the pit with balls, is that a ballpit? The texture is just flat, and some CC creators has already made new textures for the ballpit. I'm not going to bother with the infamous ballpit....

A trip to Oxford, and Blenheim isn't that far away

031116 In Altitudo, Penthouse 40×30

3 floor apartment for a big social family Aline Lommi, Lot Tester 02. December 2016 In Altitudo means up in air more or less. It's built for the terrassed highrise in SanMyshuno. It has 3 floors with 9 beds and 4 bathrooms. Price: 457k on the top of that...

280916 Alba Spa Mansion 40×30

A white mansion for professional Sims with a Spa in the basement Oda Kalvaag, Lot Tester 16. October 2016 Alba is translated to white in Latin, and white is the most dominating color on this house, even though some people don't think white is a color. White is...

310716 Sommerro Farm 50×40

This is a tested and planted Farm with lots of plants from Outdoor Retreat. It took me quite some time getting it all together with translations and all. It has been decorated in a Tudor/medieval with modern fusion style. It's for a family who inherited a farm...

010415 The Garden Path Bakery 30×20

This bakery is a modern little place with render walls and bright yellow chairs. It's meant for the GetToWork expansion, so naturally not having it might give you ... a square box and that's all. My testing sim had great success using the cupcakefactory to fill those...

131014 Alna Lounge 30×20

I don't like the Nightclub in the legacy challenge I'm trying to finish, so why not build my own? It was also about time I checked out the community lot options. After some testing with another one of my testing sims Martin Strand, I ended up with it being a Lounge....

291215 The Insula 40×20

In Rome Insula was an apartment building just like this. A traditional cozy apartment building with small units perhaps. In this building your Sim has a room 5x3 tiles with balcony, and a bathroom in the corridor. This house is one of those lucky ones with a...

261015 Mono Beard Apt 50×50

This is an high-end apartment building with apt in different sizes. 1 flat for the active family on the top floor has 2ba, 3bd, it's fully furnished. The other tenants flat may bee too small for a bathroom or a TV, or basically the decoration NPC's do is completely...

150615 The Barcode District 50×50 No CC

This lot is based on the Barcode area about to be built in Oslo, Norway. Naturally I can't make the real thing in this game, I only have 5 floors to use. Barcode is a shoppingdistrict with offices and apartments mainly. I made it for shops, apartments and 2 penthouse...

280713 Spanish Steps 50×30

I have been to Rome several times, and the fountain was originally an attempt to recreate the Trevi Fountain in Rome. One of the things I love about Rome is the nightlife you don’t have to pay for. You can just sit on a bench on a piazza like the Piazza Navona and...

280413 The Olivia Italian Restaurant 40×40

I was at a restaurant in town called The Olivia. They had this modern grey and olive green theme, and I had a hope for an Italian Restaurant in Stranda. Let me introduce The Olivia in a traditional style on a flat lot for download. I have placed it on a flat lot and...

190313 Cafe Bloody Towels 25×25

Why does Laundromats have to be so boring? This is a bar as well with a dancefloor, domino and chess table, bandits etc. The style is slightly Goth and isn't that a fitting name for it? It's made for my modern world Stranda. Since it's zoned as a laundromat I didn't...
